Curiosity tends to get the better of me. One answer usually leads to another question, and before long I’ve wandered somewhere I did not expect to go.
I like trying new things, even when I’m bad at them at first. Especially then, sometimes. There is something freeing about being a beginner and having no choice but to learn as you go.
My roots matter to me, as does the freedom to keep becoming. I’m interested in how we build stories around who we are, what matters to us, and where we think we belong. People are too complicated to be summed up cleanly. I think we all carry parts of ourselves that do not fit together neatly, and I’m increasingly interested in making room for those contradictions rather than trying to resolve them.
I’m happiest when I’m reading, writing, travelling, laughing at memes at 3am or following some completely unnecessary question far beyond the point where a sensible person would have stopped.
